One thing I have always thought that could be improved in SharePoint was a way to capture Minutes of Meetings within the Project Sites for all project related meetings. Sure, I have tried Documents, Lists, Blogs, Wiki Pages, you name it, but none seemed as free flowing as the the minutes of meeting needed to be. So I always ended up using OneNote (or Evernote) for this requirement.
However, one great improvement in SharePoint 2013, there by Project Online is the “Notebook” feature. It is available in your Project Online tenant by default, and you can activate it in your On-premises environment if you have Office Web Apps installed.
When clicked, this will open a OneNote notebook, in OneNote web App.
I am not sure how much of the General SharePoint community would benefit from this, but I can see the Project Community finding this of tremendous use. You could capture all kinds of notes, that stays within the Project Site for all team members to access. I am sure the community will find far more use cases than I mention.
No more forgetting to send Minutes of the meeting out!!
